A poll conducted for Sioux Falls Argus Leader/KELO-Land once again indicates that the South Dakota race will be a squeaker. Sen. Tom Daschle is ahead of former Congressman John Thune 49% to 47%. Another independent poll in April conducted by the Rapid City Journal and other news outlets showed Daschle in the lead 49% to 43%. Daschle`s favorability rating has slipped several points in recent months.
