If it isn`t broke, don`t fix it. Tell that to our Trenton legislators. They keep getting these great ideas, and now they`ve come up with a humdinger. Senate Bill S2603 was introduced May 29 (then withdrawn June 12) by State Senators Joseph Vitale, Bob Smith, John Adler, and Barbara Buono. Its identical Assembly counterpart, A3764, hit the floor June 9 (it has not been withdrawn), sponsored by Assemblyman Reed Gusciora. Both bills are bad news. Very, very bad news.
