Since its passage in 1996, Kentucky`s law allowing citizens to obtain permits to carry firearms has proven a great success. The Louisville Courier Journal reports that the citizens who choose to obtain permits are extremely responsible and law-abiding, and the predictions of those who opposed the law have not come to pass.
