New Jersey: Gun and Magazine Ban Legislation Awaiting Governor’s Action

As previously reported, legislation banning certain popular firearms and restricting the maximum capacity of ammunition magazines from 15 to 10 rounds was sent to Governor Chris Christie (R) for his consideration. A.2006/S.993, sponsored by anti-gun state Senator Loretta Weinberg (D-37), is another step towards disarming law-abiding New Jersey residents and tipping the balance in favor of criminals who prefer an unarmed populace as victims. As experience shows, criminals simply ignore such gun control laws.

Even if you have already done so, it is important that you call and e-mail Governor Christie and respectfully urge him to veto A.2006/S.993:
