Today, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt (R) announced that Virginia and Washington state now recognize reciprocity with Kansas’ Concealed Carry Handgun License (CCHL). This reciprocity agreement marks a major milestone for Kansas CCHL holders. Kansas already recognizes all valid out-of-state concealed carry permits through the enactment of Senate Bill 21 last year, and with the addition of Virginia and Washington, thirty-six states now honor a Kansas CCHL.
