This Thursday, February 6, the Oregon Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear Senate Bill 1551, formerly known as Legislative Concept 154. As previously reported, SB 1551 would criminalize the otherwise lawful private transfer of firearms. This committee is scheduled to meet at 8:00 a.m. in Hearing Room 50 of the State Capitol. Members are urged to attend this committee hearing and speak in opposition to Senate Bill 1551. Information on how to testify is available here.
