Armed Citizen

Three robbers, armed with knives, knocked at a home in Oklahoma City, Okla., in an attempt to lure the homeowner to the front door. The homeowner opened the front door and was ordered by the armed robbers into a bedroom. While in the bedroom, the homeowner was able to retrieve a gun and fired at the intruders, causing them to flee.

Police later arrested two of the criminals, charging one with assault and both with robbery. (KWTV, Oklahoma City, Okla. 02/02/10)
